Description
This is my version of Little Red Riding Hood but I took a bit of liberty with it. Initially, I wanted to paint a lush forest after seeing King Kong, but thought it would make the background too busy, thus taking the focus away from her face. I was inspired by Japanese wood block prints and wanted to create something with an Asian theme, sort of East meet West. I was always partial to well designed tattoos, so I've included my version. Instead of the traditional wolf, how about a dragon? This one took me quite a while, all done in Photoshop CS. Leather texture was used for the gloves and rice paper was applied as an overlay for the background.
This art was also used for a catalog cover:

A company that sells softwares to schools, faculty and students.
Thanks for looking,
Hoang
